On midsize hotels the Executive Housekeeper are responsible for all the tasks of the Asst. Executive Housekeeper and Floor Supervisors as well as their own tasks.

On smaller hotels the Hotel Manager is responsible for the Executive Housekeepers tasks as well as their own.

This handbook should be used in a way that makes the department capable of doing the tasks in a manner that meets the Festningshotellene standard in cleanliness and Condition.

The steps for Room attendant and Hotel public area attendant:

  1. Understanding the cleanliness and condition standard.
  2. Learning the necessary standard operating procedures for meeting the cleanliness and condition standard.
  3. Use the standard operating procedures to comply with the daily duties and deliver the attendant worksheet to the supervisor.

The steps for Supervisor (Executive Housekeeper, Asst. Executive Housekeeper and Floor Supervisor):

  1. Understanding the cleanliness and condition standard.
  2. Learning the necessary standard operating procedures for meeting the cleanliness and condition standard.
  3. Use the standard operating procedures to comply with the daily duties.
  4. Gather the attendant’s worksheets and summarize.
  5. Use appropriate checklist on the attendant’s work. Report back to the attendant.
